Fund Profile

The National Mutual Fund "EF Potential" (the Fund) is an open-ended fund that invests in transferable securities or other liquid financial assets, raised through public offering of monetary funds, based on the principle of risk distribution.
The National Mutual Fund "EF Potential" is not an undertaking within the meaning of Directive 2009/65/EC and, accordingly, is not a collective investment scheme.
The main goal of the National Mutual Fund is to ensure long-term growth in the value of its investments, as well as an increase in the value of investments of shareowners by achieving the maximum possible return while taking on moderate to high risk and ensuring the liquidity of investors' assets.

Investment Structure

The Fund primarily invests in securities admitted to or traded on a regulated market in Bulgaria, including stocks, debt securities, and fixed-income instruments. The Fund’s investment strategy aims at realizing capital gains from securities, dividends/income from equity securities, as well as current income from debt securities and other financial instruments.
To achieve its investment objectives, an active portfolio management strategy will be applied to securities, financial assets, and cash funds. The Fund may also apply appropriate hedging strategies to mitigate market, currency, and other risks, including transactions with options, futures, swaps, and other derivatives.

Return and Risk Management

The primary goal of the National Mutual Fund is to ensure long-term growth in the value of its investments, as well as an increase in the value of investments for shareowners by achieving the highest possible return while taking on moderate to high risk and ensuring liquidity.
Growth is achieved by investing in high-yield assets, and risk management is ensured through diversification techniques and a balanced asset allocation. Another fundamental objective of the Fund is to provide liquidity—both for its own investments and for investments in the Fund’s shares. There is no guarantee that the Fund will achieve its investment goals.

Who Are the Potential Investors in the Fund?

The main target group of investors includes those with above-average incomes for the country, good investment knowledge, and medium to high risk tolerance. These investors are interested in participating in the risk asset market but prefer not to make individual investment decisions themselves. The Fund offers them the opportunity to manage their investment risk while maintaining the potential for higher returns.

The Fund’s investment product is intended for individuals (citizens, companies, institutions) who:
  • Are willing to take on moderate to high investment risk to achieve higher returns.
  • Seek secure and quick liquidity without compromising their investment returns.
  • Are ready to invest funds in the long term.
  • Want to diversify their portfolio risk.
  • Prefer to have their funds managed by financial market professionals
Shares of the National Mutual Fund "EF Potential" are suitable for both Bulgarian and foreign individuals, companies, and institutions looking to invest part of their funds in financial markets through a diversified product consisting mainly of stocks and bonds, with a medium to high level of risk and the potential for higher returns.
